UAE ENVIRONMENTAL CONSERVATION

     Introduction Posted by Rishabh Vinod Despite the frenzied pace of urbanization, rapid population growth and economic diversification, environment protection and natural resources conservation have never taken a back seat to other priorities of the UAE Government.  The reason why environmental issues always top the government agenda is quite obvious: there has been a long realisation by the Emirate’s leadership, especially the UAE’s visionary founder and one of the greatest conservationist of all time, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, that the protection of environment is a precursor to a sustainable, balanced and inclusive growth.
